Surely no one who posts of here is guilty of such sin, but I'm tired of folks even comparing Manowar to Iron Maiden. They do not belong the same discussion. I think I've insulted Iron Maiden by posting ****** on the same line as them! Manowar, Hammerfall, and yes for all you Helloweenies out there, them too, are not in the same league as Maiden, were never in the same league as Maiden, and will be watching in obscurity as Iron Maiden is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in a few years. The next time I'm at a party and some pud's blasting Hammerfall and some other asswipe say's "Man, that rocks, is that Maiden?" I'm gonna go Axl Rose-meets-cameraman on his ass! ARRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

I interviewed Manowar a couple years ago for my show.It was teh first time in 10 years theyve been to S.F. for me Ithough getting Manowar on my show would be a fun little novelty & I thought they'd be thrilled anyone would be interetsed in interviewing them.To my shock these guys are the biggest delusional prima donna.egotistacal assholes I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with!They think they're big important mega Rock Stars & acted like they were playing 5 sold out shows at Madison Square Garden!
There were only 5 press people there including myself:3 video shows & 2 college radio people.My freinds in Tales from the Pit video magazine were refused because tehy put their stuff out on the market for sale.I was brought into a room & had to sign a release form & agreement that i would mail them a copy imediately.
Then us 4 remaining press peopel were sat down & the band was lead out by their tour manager to a press conference table.The tour manager acted like it was acrowded press room & was announcing "No cameras,No video!" & the 2 college shows with their little hand held recorders did some Q&A with the band.
I did my interview & asked them if tehy'd doa staion I.D together saying "We're Manowar & you're watching Reality Check" and their bassist Joey Demaio replied "We don't do that!"
I've interviewd Iron Maiden,Motorhead,Dio & peopel way bigge rtaht manowar & never had to deal with this bullshit ever!
Once at astudio in Chicago a friend of mine was taking pictures in the studio.Joey Demaio was there & happened to get in on of the pictures my friend was taking & Joey went after him demanding the film!Who does this guy & his band think they are??
In America there's 2 reactions you get about Manowar eitehr no one has heard of them or you get "They're still around??" followed by "Oh man they SUCK!!"
