This is the first time this has happened to me. Slapped an analyzer on a mix I worked on yesterday (over the Master bus). Music stopped, and this crazy spike just stays there.
I figured for sure it was something in my chain. I had 2 compressors back-to-back, only shaving about -1 dB at most each, and experimented with 2 limiters back-to-back...I figured surely it had to be one of the limiters. Disabled all plugins except MAnalyzer, same spike remains.
This "goes away" when I turn the "Smoothness" fader up, but I'm assuming the spike is still there and since the visual is "fatter", it's just not showing it.
