They did a small tour here in the US last year...... see Fangface's post for the set list.. hahaha... Not sure who's in the band now. I friend of mine saw them and said they were great.

At least the setlist is very good! Only "Rockin the World" and "The rock that Makes me Roll" are missing.
They could have spared us the final track though... hum

I have always thought they were extremely talented artists. Michael Sweet has a great voice, Robert Sweet is an excellent drummer and Oz Fox is a master of using pinch harmonics on his guitar. He is quite underrated. Having said that, sometimes they lacked punch and played a little soft too often for my taste. I'm neither religious nor offended by it, so it really didn't matter to me that they were playing Christian music, but I think some of the themes of the music might have taken away some of the aggression I like to hear in metal. : /

Yeah their ballads are probably the worst ever in Metal, but people shouldn't forget that Stryper is a Heavy Metal band playing songs that rock.

I don't know why they're labeled as "glam" sometimes... "The Way" could have been an Iron Maiden song!

I love Stryper great Band "Caught in the Middle" is one of My Favorite Heavy Metal songs of all time ..... I try to ignore the preachy stuff I mean "14. -Closing Prayer-" That track would NEVER be played on my player hahahaa I hate being preached to But but other than that whole Religous thing They are an incredible band the singer sounded like a girl most of the time but wtf its ok

I have laugh when I think of them, but they are good musicans. I have recently discovered that Ratt is also. I have always made fun of them but I got trashed last night and rocked out all night to them. Could of been the booze but they were rockin.They're no priest though.
