Awesome - I love stories like that where an appreciation for a band happens as the result of mere chance rather than recommendations or research, etc.



Heh, I have a story of my own. When I first bought "THWtD" at about age 12-13, I played it extremely loud while hanging out in my parents' basement. At the end of the title track, when Sweet belts out "DEVIL!!, DEVIL!!!!!, DEVILLLLLLLL!!!!!!!", my Mom heard it upstairs and came flying down saying "What in the world are you listening to down here?!?!?! I don't want that in this house!!" I was finally able to calm her down after showing her the lyrics; she was like....."Oh."

I go that reaction when I started putting up Iron Maiden posters Stryper is a great band. Love Soldiers Under Command and THWTD. I always remember the song "Reach Out" Its one of those songs that once you hear it, its all over. It will be in your head for weeks.

We've done a few over the years - but most recently we've done All for One, on occasion.

With dual guitars and a great singer - it's hard not to bust into a classic rocker!
