So i decided it was time to get a analog console to the studio again.
I found a Soundtracs Quartz 32 faders desk with a bantam patchbay built in.
After a few days of connecting, im up and running in the studio.
My good friend Erik Lindberg from Lesra har teamed up with me to work at Garageland Studios. We also upgraded the micpark, amp park, drums, preamps etc.

So, how does it look in the studio now?

Take a look :)

Looking awesome! I started to GAS for a console since I worked a lot on the schools consoles.. but for my setup it makes no sense, luckily
Your studio looks a little bit dark for my taste but that's probably just the pictures. I'm amazed everytime how cheaper digital cameras or phone cameras never even closely capture the light / brightness in a room or outside.

Also, your daughter is adorable :headbang:

Just got my first "real console" (Control 24 for a freaking STEAL) and after one week, I'm already jonesing for a really nice analogue board.

I have to keep telling myself: new converters, mics and pres FIRST!! Of course that's coming from the mind that just helped me justify purchasing a Diezel VH4 about 10 minutes ago haha.

Looks GREAT man, congrats!!

Tell us a bit about the board?

Well, the Quartz have really good preamps. The sound dark and have a great transient respons.
4 band EQ with sweep. Monitor mix and main faders. 24 busses. This desk is originally from the famous Cheiron studios in Stockholm, sweden. Then served a totally different purpose, mixing Britney Spares and other boybands :)
The bantam patch is larger then the usual one that arrives with the desk, due to Cheirons requests.

Regarding the amps, we have:

Mesa/Boogie MKIV
Mesa/Boogie Dual Recto REV A.
Huges & Kettner Trilogy
Peavey 6505
Peavey Windsor

For cabs we have:
Marshall 1960TV w/ Greenbacks/V30
2x Mesa Boogie Oversized
1x15" Ampeg bass cab

Right on man! If you ever need any Diezel VH4 or Rivera K Tre reamps, hit me up!

Not really funny dude. Like... not at all. I actually hesitated before I posted because I knew someone would make some stupid joke / comment, but then I thought that luckily we're not a forum of immature 4chan users, so yeah...

Perhaps adorable isn't the right word I'm no native speaker, but I think it was pretty clear how I ment it -.-

No, 'adorable' is the PERFECT word for his daughter.

The fact that anyone would assume sexual context (even in a joking manner) from your comment is evidence only of their own closeted pedophilia.
