Going though some stuff right now and will need a nice healthy dose of some aggressive "fuck you" metal to keep me tearing up like a fucking pussy. I'd appreciate some suggestions on bands to check out. I'm looking for some stuff on the death metal-side of the spectrum, but not the usual inaudible growl that is death metal vocals (don't get me wrong, love the growl but not looking for that right now). For example, stuff similar to Lamb of God or Devildriver would serve me well. Any ideas?

Fuuuuuck. Dunno then. Death metal's not my forte. Behemoth? Try The Apostasy if you haven't, vocals are pretty audible, not as much blastbeats as their other work.

That's my favorite Slipknot album, and yes it is extremely pissed off sounding. As someone who grew up in Iowa, I can totally understand why an angry album would be inspired by that shit-hole state.
