Well, an unfortunate situation has happened. I had planned on arriving in Atlanta and staying with friends Tues and Wed. I just found out that they had a recent, unforeseen move to the Carolinas and won't be there. Is anyone coming into Atlanta on Tues that would have any extra room or crash space? If not I can rough it out a couple of days. I'll pretend I'm Tom Hanks in The Terminal and buy alot of their bagged porno to pass the time.

If it still goes as scheduled, noon. However, I got the ticket through a relative's frequent flier miles. I won't be able to check until Monday to make sure but if the cost for the re-scheduled flight to where I leave Thursday and meet up with Ed like planned is like sixty bucks or less than I can take that hit. The only cd I am making SURE I get at this year's Prog Power is the new Secret Sphere. I mean either way, worst case scenario is I kick it for a day cos I'm sure I'll run into someone familiar that's arriving Wednesday. Its not like I'm missing a way home or going homeless the entire weekend. I'll pretend I'm on tour in Tokyo and my plane got delayed because it's getting a new hot tub installed.

I stayed there from Mon-Thur at PPV. Decent hotel, but be warned: it's not actually a few minutes away from the venue and it's nowhere near the MARTA train.

it's a viable place to stay if you just need a place to crash for a couple of days, and there is a MARTA bus that goes by that can take you to the N3 train station. But that bus doesn't run very late(till about 8pm I think). I found out the hard way and had to get a cab the night of the pre-party.

I went walking early Saturday morning last year and I swear I saw a PP fan sleeping in a park! Was it you?!!

I thought it was a little weird....but maybe not if people are dedicated enough to "rough it" for the sake of metal!!!!

Well, good news. I was able to get the flight changed for a fee of... 7.50 So hahaha whew, dodged that one there. But seriously though I am still awed by you guys and your generosity. Everyone so far I have met in the past, albeit briefly, yet still to be cool like that is amazing. Hells yeah, three days to go!
