Supporting Exodus-European Tour dates!!

Yesterday night I saw Biomechanical live again after seeing them two years ago at the Headway festival. The sounds was very bad, I could hear John barely. Also the crowd was not exactly participating imho. The band gave it their all. And seemed to enjoy themselves but even I, with the sound being as it was, could not really get into the show as much as I wanted. Kinda frustrated me though. This band deserves so much better! :-(

Then again Eindhoven, because of the Dynamo history, is Old School territory.

Later I met and talked to John K who was very friendly. I enjoyed meeting you man! Next time I hope you guys get the sound and crowd reaction you deserve.

Exodus played up a storm. They have a long history with Eindhoven and the Dynamo pub and festival. The first time they played in Eindhoven was in 1985 when they destroyed the place with Paul at the vocals.

They came back in 1988 for the infamous Dynamo festival and played the night before the festival in the pub again. Magic!

Now they were back! Needless to say the crowd was insane and Exodus RAGED! They focussed on the last two albums and Bonded in Blood. Smart choice imho!

Within two songs there was a raging pit and even some stage divers now and then. I felt like I was back in 1987! They really found their man with Rob though. This is the guys that can do justice to the legendary metal history of Exodus! It was pure joy to see and hear the band perform at this level. I got the feeling both the band and the crowd were having the time of their lives.

Killer gig!!

The Copenhagen, DK show has been cancelled

The following dates have been added:
Nov. 12 - Movie - Bielefeld, Germany
Dec. 05 - Le Korrigan - Marseille, France

The sound was much better in Haarlem yesterday from what I gathtered from the Eindhoven story and Assaulter still is a tough mf'er to headbang on but I think I managed quite well. :headbang: Met up with John before the show and we talked a bit about the tour so far. The show itself was intense, shame they can play only half an hour but it was well worth it. Jamie's solo in Painkiller was cut short (I suspect John kicked out the powerlead to the amp while running around on stage. Nice cover for next time: Death's Pull the Plug? ;)).

Some pics to add to the atmosphere.

Lol! I had a map from map24, but I swear the website I found the address from must have got the postcode wrong, cos it directed me to the arse-end of nowhere :(

That blows! Shame I did not go, cause I knew exactly where it was! :(

Let me say, I LOOOOOOOOOVE Newcastle. It is a honour to visit the place.

Hey Derek

Should be an anouncement soonish about some dates in February March 2007 I know there is at least one in Scotland:)

Just heard from the boys, there playing in Helsiniki tonight.Have a good one boys:kickass:
They've told me that unforunately they won't be able to do the Polish gig on 25th. This is due to not having enough time to get there. They have time to drive to Poland but not to stop at all the custom stops that will be necessary, this will add between 5 -10 hours on the journey.:( This is also the case for Exodus aswell:(
The Boys are really dissapointed with the cancellation and hope to go to Poland some other time!

I was at the gig in Helsinki yesterday, and man, one word: speechless! Not only did Biomechanical put up a killer show, they also turned out to be the coolest guys ever.
I got to chat with everyone in the band, and Matt even got me and a few others backstage to hang out. I won't forget it man, you made my day! :kickass:

Here's some pics of the show.

Somehow I managed to look like an idiot in every single photo.

Sadly I forgot to get a picture with Matt. How the hell did I manage to do that...

I bought The Empires -cd, but my ears are ringing so bad right now that I can't listen to it yet.

Hey, thanks! I've been lurking around Ultimate Metal forums for a while now. Too bad I only got a shitty camera with me yesterday, otherwise the pics would look a lot better. Or maybe I'm just shitty photographer

Anyway, I don't care how much my ears are ringing, I had to hear this cd. I just popped it to my player and I'm halfway through at the moment. To say that this stuff gives me the goosebumps would be a major understatement!!:headbang:

edit:

2. The Empires Of The World
3. Assaulter
4. Regenerated
5. DNA Metastasis
