SUSPERIA - 'UNLIMITED' now UNLEASHED
Oslo, Norway - Norwegian five piece SUSPERIA are set to release their eagerly awaited third album, 'Unlimited' , on 22nd March 2004 through Tabu Recordings (a Divison of Tuba Records, Norway).
The album was recorded over a period of two months during 2003 at Subsonic Society Studios in Oslo and Studio Fredman (At The Gates, Soilwork) in Gothenburg, Sweden with production duties being undertaken by the band.
'Unlimited' is the follow up to their ground breaking 'Vindication' album and delivers an agressive collection of tracks featuring 'Chemistry', 'The Coming Past', 'Situational Awareness', 'Devil May Care', 'Off The Grid', 'Years Of Infinity', 'Home Sweet Hell', 'Mind Apart', 'Beast By Design', 'Untouched'.
The track 'Chemistry' has been chosen to be the first video from the album. The band are currently in talks with various production teams and work is due to commence shortly.
The Norwegian metallers have also recorded a version of a well known song with a view to future release, details of which will be disclosed shortly. The choice will come as a surprise to many but in the meantime the band are relishing in the guessing game.
SUSPERIA, who are vocalist Athera, bass guitarist Memnock, drummer Tjodalv (Dimmu Borgir), guitarists Elvorn and Cyrus, have grabbed the opportunity to develop and hone their music and songwriting skills. This has been reflected in the performance and maturity on the new release. The buzz on the album after this years industry convention at 'Midem' in France has proved enormous. All the signs are that 'Unlimited' will be one of the highlights of the genre this year and has been described as "Pantera on speed, driving madly, with Slayer in the backseat, grinning like hell!!". The band have made one of the "must have" metal albums of 2004 - no fillers, just killers.
Their live campaign launches with an appearance at one of Norway's premier rock events, the Infeno Festival www.infernofestival.net in Oslo on Friday 9th April 2004, where the band will be sharing the bill with the likes of Zyklon and Enslaved. A Scandinavian and full European tour are currently in the pipeline, details of which will be anounced shortly.
With a new label and new management behind the band SUSPERIA are now
firing on all cylinders.
