SUSPYRE is seeking a talented and committed drummer to complete the band's permanent band lineup. Their current drummer Jeff Willet has left the band due to schedule conflicts and unforeseen circumstances.
Applicants MUST possess the following:
1. A demonstrated ability to play with impeccable timing and accuracy.
3. Confidence in themselves but also a willingness to be a team player.
4. Proficiency in playing double bass and songs with odd time signatures.
5. Residency in the United States (NJ/PA/NY residency is preferred).
6. At least 21 years old.
7. A familiarity with the SUSPYRE catalog.
8. A flexible work schedule, since should you land the gig you will be asked to do extensive gigging with the band and weekend recording sessions.
Applicants should submit the following:
1. A recording (on CD audio or DVD video) of yourself playing these 2 Suspyre songs, April in the Fall and Last of the Survivors. They must be raw live recordings. If you need sheet music or a click track of the songs, please send us an email requesting it. Do not send us clips of songs previously recorded in other bands.
2. A photo of yourself and links to your myspace or web site.
3. A brief biography outlining your experience and gear setup.
4. Contact address, e-mail address, and phone number should we wish to audition you further.
Please send your bio and demo materials in video or audio format to:
