I can perfectly see the first three and die happy afterwards. Damn swedes are lucky!

Well, Heaven and Hell, BG and Motorhead are the excuse to spend the ticket price. I can't believe that both Suzie Quatro and Black Oak Arkansas are still around!!!!! Crazy.

Damn good bands uptill now, huhu; and 50 more or so needs to be announced. It's just I don't like the fuzz around these huge festivals that much, I'd rather pick out some of those bands on a concert, as most of them do concerts througout Europe around that time. Trouble is already on the list !!

Every year when I see the SR billing I say to myself : "you HAVE to make it at least once!".
Maybe 2007 will be the right year.

The ticket price is insane though (195-215 euros!)...

An insane amount of money for an insane amount of bands, it's not that bad of a deal really. Sweden Rock's lineup beats every other metal fest year after year, in both quality and quantity. Here's last year for example:

Alice Cooper
Anvil
Arch Enemy
Baldroom Blitz
Blitzkrieg
Bonfire
Bullet
Cactus
Cathedral
Celtic Frost
Cloudscape
Crucified Barbara
Deep Purple
Def Leppard
Doro
Dragonforce
Easy Action
Edguy
Entombed
Evergrey
Extrema
Firewind
From Behind
Gamma Ray
Gehennah
George Thorogood & The Destroyers
Goda Grannar
Gotthard
Grave
Hardcore Superstar
House Of Shakira
Jaded Heart
Jeff Healey Band
Journey
Kamelot
Krokus
Leaf Hound
Lord Belial
Metal Church
Michael Schenker Group
Molly Hatchet
Nasty Idols
Neil Turbin's Deathriders
Nevermore
Obituary
Onslaught
Overdrive
Porcupine Tree
Queensryche
Raise Hell
Sleazy Joe
Sodom
Ted Nugent
The Playboys
The Poodles
The Quill
The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
The Storyteller
The Sweet
Tigertailz
Treat
Vanden Plas
Venom
Victory
W.A.S.P.
Whitesnake

I'm sure each of you can find at least 15 bands worth watching on that list. In a perfect world there would be an worldwide UMOS meeting in Sweden every year.:kickass:

Indeed, there's always a shitload of great bands playing at SR.

Plus, I like the the diversity of bands they bring up.
