SWEDEN ROCK FESTIVAL

Can't you just make Urban fly you over? Flash those pearly whites, bat your eyes and hit him with that southern accent.

I'll let you know how that goes. ;)

Seriously, it's even more tempting now that you and the Mrs. will be there, but I just can't justify the 2 grand it would cost us this year. I'm looking at buying a house in about a year, so it's hard to spend that money instead of saving it.

That would be very cool. I just bought our tickets. Can't wait.

LOL. Yeah... Jason found something. I think it's a cabin of sorts, that may or may not include linens. I have no idea what that means.:goggly:

LOL - yeah, it's a little scary, but the setting should be nice. It's a 4 person cottage/cabin at a campsite about 25 miles from the festival site. Hopefully we can come up with a way to compensate for lack of linens/towels if we get confirmation that it will indeed be the case. Best we could do on short notice without paying $300/night for the only hotel available.

Lineup is extremely cool, should be a blast. :kickass:

I honestly can't think of something I would enjoy more than staying in a cabin in Sweden with friends and seeing all these amazing bands! It sounds like a dream... and I just woke up :erk::erk::lol::erk:

One day....

Well, it's not all that hard to make happen if you have the vacation time and a little extra money. The airfare is really the most expensive part (I'm getting it for around $1,100 or so), especially if you can stay with friends and share the cost. If you can handle the airfare, you can definitely handle the rest.

You'd always be welcome with us, when you give so much of your time to try and help the scene the way you have, a standing invite is mandatory. :)

Wow, I'm humbled! Its really awesome of you to offer, didn't expect that at all  You've cured the final hurdle of finding other people to make the trip with, should I come into the cash which at this point is only a dream. Perhaps I need to give this some serious thought though. Perhaps an early birthday/Christmas present to myself is in order :goggly:

So far, it's just the three of us (Jason, Paula and myself). The more the merrier. If you start to seriously consider it, shoot Jason and/or I a PM and we can discuss logistics.
