I asked my sister, who goes to GWU, about Emoacapella. Here's what she emailed me back:

i have actually never heard of that group here on the gw campus but, after surfing their website for a few minutes, i was glad that that was the case. it sounds as if they are a really big bunch of losers.

I guess they aren't "gaining fans and new friends" on the GW campus nearly quickly enough.
