SXSW...

i meant the bridge end.

i really dislike the "weird" bc rich body shapes (warlock, beast etc.) but I would love to get my hands on a 70's or 80's custom shop Mockingbird or Eagle...

Honestly, I was never a fan of BC Rich. I have played numerous models , and this is the only one (Paul's correct on the model)I have liked. It has really warm and versatile tone, and lots of control. I would love to have a modulus, or another one of those hand crafted models, but who can afford that??? And if I did get one, really, I'd never take it on the road, so I would still be playing this or my other bass (3/4 scale Washburn 1988 model with EMG's). :err:

i havent kept track with all the new body styles. it looks a lot like the warlock style though.

i don't really know what to get, to be honest. one day i want a rick again, but i think i will try to have someone build me a decent 5-stringed one with lots of blacks in it :) i am going to this shop right now, going to sell an amp. hell, i might be tempted to trade it in for that Zon Sonus RT model if it's a US one instead of korean :) we'll see... i have a hard time digging any other neck than my wenge warwick corvette neck.

I love Tears For Fears! Always have since "Seeds of Love" came out. They have some really great tunes, like "Sketches of Pain" and "Standing On The Corner of the Third World".

I dunno if I've listened to those two songs before, but I love Shout, Everybody Wants To Rule The World, Pale Shelter, Break it down etc

Everybody Wants To Rule The World is easily in my top 50 favorite songs of all time.

You guys familiar with Andy Mckee? He is doing a cover of "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" on his next album. I saw him here in Philly just two weeks ago and he played it. It fucking ruled!!! Don't know when the new album will come out, but check it out when it does!

How many people would you say were there for your set?

Maybe 50. It's what we expected for a band no one has heard of, with nothing out yet. hahaha

SXSW is more of an industry show, so the people who did see us, were some of the RIGHT people to see us... if that makes sense...

We got management offers, another label was trying to get us to leave The End and sign with them... Things like that. :)

THESE ARE THEY hit the studio April 17th to record the debut full length, and the EP should be out anytime now.

OH, and we have T-Shirts available, NOW.

Paul, seriously, you guys should consider playing a gig at the COBRA LOUNGE. I think I have mentioned that club before. I went to see GATES OF SLUMBER there. There seriously had to be about 300 people there. Shows are free, and it has pretty much just become a hangout for all kinds of fans of underground music.
