It was discontinued within the last couple months or so, because EastWest is planning a release of an updated version that runs off a new sampler they've been working on called PLAY (the old stuff ran off a watered down version of Kontakt called Kompakt which is not Intel Mac compatible). I actually bought Symphonic Choirs from Sweetwater right before it was discontinued, because they were blowing them out for like $350 (normally it was like $600), but they haven't released the PLAY version yet, so I actually haven't even been able to use Symphonic Choirs (I'm running an Intel Mac now). I can either wait for PLAY to be released (not sure what the upgrade fee will be, but the rumor is that it won't be too steep), or since it came with Kompakt, that makes me eligible for a crossgrade purchase of Kontakt 3 for $250, which IS Intel Mac compatible and can load all the choir sounds.

crap i just read that you need it for cross grade, DANG!!!!!
