Symphony X and Epica at Slim's in April...

So, I live in Utah, wife works for JetBlue, so i can fly free, standby, and I had this show in mind, would love to see them, but money's always tight, 5 kids and a big mortgage. I had it all mapped out, looked like I could fly into SFO arriving at 8pm, BART downtown, show, then bus over to OAK for a 6:30 am flight to longbeach, then back to SLC. All on the cheap, but now I'm seeing no tickets. Anyone help me out? I'm also psyched to see Liquid Tension Experiment at BAR Fest, waiting for info on that. Prog rarely comes to Utah.

I've been scouring Craigslist and every other avenue possible for one last ticket, but I'm coming up short. Wish I could help you, but there don't seem to be a lot of extra ticket floating around...

Well, being down here in So. Cal, gonna miss the Slim's show this time around (last year's set at Slim's tore the frackin' roof off!), but I will be seeing them the next night down here at the Sunset House of Blues!

I'm gonna see both shows! Looking forward to it...
what a great show it was...russell and romeo were a couple of clowns up there....they looked like they had a great time....to me the sound wasn't as good as last year but it was made up in the performance.....great show

Did that last year! Just saw them here at Sunset HOB and it rocked! Gotta go up front for these guys, always a blast!

I thought the sound at Slims really sucked on Friday...
Lately I've had that experience at Slims more than not it seems...
But Symphony X definitely overcame that deficit!! They ruled!
