Wow, a 30 date tour and NO Chicago date?????

I find that very bizarre, given both band's history with Chicago, between all the festivals each have played here, plus coming through on pretty much every major tour..... This is 30 dates, so I am not even sure if more dates will be added.

Where did you see that info?

Hrmm... yeah, it was the combination of the two that had me interested, as I would not go see Iced Earth or Symphony X headline anymore, unless there was a support band I wanted to see.

Not that I am into them or anything, but glad to see that Warbringer's touring efforts are starting to pay off. First, a headline run, and now this tour.

I was initially disappointed to see that Chicago isn't getting Symphony X, but that really means a full headlining set for Iced Earth.

You may want to re-think not going, especially if they keep a similar setlist to what Europe is getting. There's a handful of songs that the band hasn't played since the Horror Show tour or even prior. I don't think they've ever done Dante's Inferno in the US - hopefully that carries over!

Dystopia
Burning Times
Angels Holocaust
Slave to the Dark
V
Stand Alone
When the Night Falls
Damien
Dark City
Pure Evil
Anguish of Youth
My Own Savior
Anthem
Declaration Day
Days of Rage
Tragedy and Triumph

Encore:
Dante's Inferno
Iced Earth

I suppose my decision would change if I get around to checking out Dystopia prior to this show.
It isnt high on my list, but I am curious based on the reviews.

Overall though, regardless of how good IE are with Stu, they are no longer a "must see" band for me anymore.
