throughout the years i have completely reformed my t-shirt collections by selling them at these prices (some even considerably more expensive). many done via 1:1 trades as well. no luck needed

fair enough... you're obviously more experienced than me at this game... it's just more logical that people would prefer to spend the same amount of money (or sometimes less) for a brand new version of a shirt as opposed to a 2nd hand one...

i just wish some fuckers would take any of my shirts off me... none of them are even vaguely neglected condition...

a lot of the shirts i will sell for $20+ aren't in print anymore, so getting a new version isn't very likely unless they're lucky enough to find a store with old stock.
the shirts that are still in print i generally don't ask for too much, unless it's brand new & never worn (some of the deicide's)

i've noticed the more i want to get rid of something, i have the same problems as you. or if i find people interested in them, they want to give me cdrs of some phillipino band i've never heard of and other stupid shit in trade for them...

lol been there, or in some cases it's trying to trade their power metal cds in for the highly sought after "classics" of black or death metal.... as if you're going to accept a Yngwie Malmsteen CD in exchange for your Burzum or vintage Malevolent Creation etc...
