Click to expand... the lines represent strings on the guitar, read from top to bottom, its as if you were looking down on the guitar while holding it in your lap. E----- <--High E string B----- <--B string g----- <--G string D----- <--D string A----- <--A String E----- <--E string and the numbers represent the number of frets away from the NUT, or this part now when you see something like this A-----5 E-----3 it represents a G power chord. hope it helps
