You beat me to it.....

Just in at Blabbermouth.net

"Sweden's TAD MOROSE have been confirmed as direct support for German power metallers EDGUY at B.B. King's in New York City on September 15. Both bands will also be performing at the ProgPower USA V festival in Atlanta, GA on September 18. As previously reported, EDGUY will play a headlining show at Club Soda in Montreal, Quebec on September 16 and at the Key Club in Hollywood, California on September 19. Mexican dates will take place after the Los Angeles show.

I think this is a great thing. I mean Tad Morose sucks, but they might as well play their garbage to the American audience anyway. :yuk:

Of course I am joking. The average American metal fan thinks all powermetal bands sound like Helloween. Edguy and Tad Morose will change that misconception. I'm not as big on Edguy as I am Tad Morose, but they are a quality band and are outstanding live.

Ha ha ha you have to pardon the Snowman. He's a buddy of mine (and a moderator) at the Vanden Plas forum. He's a sarcastic little shit, but he's a good guy. He owes me big-time though. I introduced him to Angel Dust and Tad Morose. As you have noticed, I do cross recruiting. I try to get people into both Vanden Plas and Tad Morose. :D

I was blessed/cursed with both having a friendly and open, but also a class A+ personality. I can't imagine why a band kicks my ass completely and doesn't outsell Metallica..... or whoever. My pea brain just can't fathom it. If I like it.... it must kick ass !! Everyone else should like it too.... but somewhere in my little brain sits the little voice that says... "well everyone has different tastes" so I won't go flying to their state or country and execute them with my bare hands just becase they may not care for Tad Morose or Vanden Plas. :loco: Of course I am exaggerating (I am in a strange mood tonight) but sometimes I do get a bit over zealous in preaching the wonders of my fave bands, but at the same time I have never been angry with anyone because they didn't like something I do.... except for Fang. He still has to buy "Beyond Daylight." o_O

 don't worry...I am the same way, I preach and preach about my favorite artists, but then again that's what I do as I like to get involved in fansites and street teams to promote good music as much as I can...so needless to say I try to "spread the metal disease" and I can happily say I have infected many people successfully :loco:

Fangggggg, **this is your inner voice** (you need Beyond Daylight) o_O

Lol same here Bryant! Makes me go several shades of red

when I look at the top lists... the taste of the choosers leaves much to be desired. Probably part if it is they simply don't know there is better stuff out there, sadly I think advertising is mainly to blame. Advertising is wayyyy to important over here. Whatever happened to listening to a band "because I like it?"

Some people think our government runs America, but the media runs America and it is growing more and more corporate on top of that. The media makes out these shit bands (not all of them are as I think Nickelback and Fuel are pretty cool hard rock bands) to be cool and these followers want to be cool and buy the stuff. I am sure there are people out there that listen to poular music and truly enjoy it, but I also know many listen to it because their friends do.

True, some do and I feel that the media runs America to a certain extent (anyone suddenly having a Shadow Gallery flashback to the New World Order Song?). I love my country but thats just one of the things about it that makes me mad...

The "New World Order" is a reality. I don't know about in terms of Shadow Gallery's reference, but we are becoming a global community. In this forum we have several countries represented, just as an example. I proably have more in common with Zeimot and the Fangster than I do with many people in my own physical community.
Technology has been in a boom and this world is going to provide some amazing things for generations to come. There are still many people alive today that weren't born when we first had sustained flight of mere seconds. Now we can travel out of space and go anywhere in the world we want to if our funds allow.
