He is indeed a real live one! He is a bass player too! I wonder if this is the same person???? I will do some research!!!!alanbirdsell said:Linda, in the question about pummled crew one answer is a Chris Knudsen. Who is he, if he is a real person? I use to have a college room mate who was a bass player that moved to So. CA named Chris Knudsen. Last I heard he worked in or owned a bar.
Gonna have to dig through my old college pics now!Doodoobubbachuck said:He is indeed a real live one! He is a bass player too! I wonder if this is the same person???? I will do some research!!!!

Before there were tribute bands there were AIR BANDS!
You little fu*k! It is you! Small world, eh? (Thanks Linda) Long time no see, I was lookin' for your e-mail not too long ago. Speaking of pics, the ones I was looking for wsa the one's of us doin' Maiden's The Trooper! Remember, with "Bill Perry from across the hall"? Wanda makes a better Steve Harris than I and Jen a better Dickinson than you Drop me an e-mail and we can play catch up! BTW, Chris, I have my own bass now... a couple of them, actuallymetalord said:Alan you are a sick bastard and I deny all offiliations with any air bands that may (or may not) have performed in the Palouse region of the PNW. Including (but not limited to) Priest, Maiden or Ozzy. You of course know that I must dig through my old pictures for some particularly nasty geekiness involving you...wait a minute, I'm probably in those as well......Blargh!!

College, in the early 80's, was some scary shit! Especially where we went to school, in the middle of nowhere. The sad thing is I was in graduate school at the time... I didn't fit in with the eggheadsHobbesDawg said:That is some scarry shi*. LOL!!!

i gotta hear the stories- gonna grill chris on the ride up to the valley sunday- hehehehehhehehe
I'm the new Gene. Have played 3 shows so far and have definately been well received in Longview, Wa, Montpelier, Id and Butte, Mt. Still need to do a more Gene-esque bass solo instead of speed-metal riffs! If you know anyone going to the show, ask them how we did and let me know. My friend had one of those Impaler things. He called it a "Pig Stabber". Still have a few pics of us at 16 in '84 posing out. That's why being these tribute bands kicks ass. Makes me feel 16 again!alanbirdsell said:Damn, Axman, I wish I would have known earlier. Unfortunately I'm being wisked off to Seattle to shoot the Heir Apparent show in Tacoma Halloween. Do you guys play here often? Let me know when you are coming again and if my schedule is open I'm there. I shot Hotter Than Hell not too long ago, I was minimally impressed with them, a good tribute band would be cool. Keep me posted! Speaking of
Hondo's I have one of those Impaler looking things which is my winter project in refinishing a guitar.
alanbirdsell said:They're really hyping your show up on the radio here. The casinos have been doin' a lot of tribute band stuff. I wonder bout the Maidens trying that route... Ahem, Linda, maybe get Mark to talk to who ever booked axeman's band
