Well what did you expect? America has been saying all along that they would do it. BUT-Is it even confirmed that the U.S. were the ones attacking? Afganistan is also in a civil war, you know. Besides that, America didn't say they were out to destroy Afganistan, just the terrorists in there. I need more input on this before I believe any of it. I don't see why Kabul would be bombed by America right now.

I think the objectives are to destroy the structure of the taliban capable of waging a sustained war, and crippling the terrorist training camps. But the taliban had the option to do justice or to be destoyed
