that article is incredibly confusing, and maybe even misleading.

a chimp that was once taught sign language and almost forgot it, but is now relearning, is considered "trying to talk"? and newsworthy?

i'm sick of seeing so-called "talking" chimp stories when all they're doing is parrot-symbols. has anything other than humans ever used triadic language yet?
