Well... they are not as good as most granted. Still I really like Tank. They do certainly fall into that Motorhead, AC/DC type of rock that as nothing more to offer than what it is at face value and I can accept that.

Indeed. Some bands are just good at what they do without having to expand too much. Tank is definitely one of those bands.
I totally understand why people on this forum wouldn't like them though.

Wow, Claus, I know that I rarely agree with most of what you post on here, but I still respect your opinions, since they are warranted, in terms of you knowing your stuff. Saying that Motorhead is one of the worst hard rock bands is just simply obsurd.

As you said, you rarely agree, so your misguided opinion doesn't really matter here. I'm right, you're wrong - Motorhead SUCKS and is absolutely one of the worst hard rock bands ever! It's a fact, because I said so.

you have heard me say it many of times. I think it is a band that has lived because of the name. I wonder how many people who say they are fans have actually bought any of thier newer disc. They are one of those bands where people just by the Greatest Hits or the classic albums.

Who cares if people don't buy their new albums? Motorhead has more than earned their status as a metal institution. Like Venom, you don't have to like them to acknowledge that. Saying they suck is a) lazy and b) wrong.
No Motorhead, no thrash metal.

That is absolutely not true. However one could simply own a greatest hits and have everything pretty well covered as with AC/DC or any other rock band that has a realism approached to their music.
But as Justin said Motorhead has well earned their place in rock n roll. They are not the prettiest, catchiest, or technically the greatest but where does it say a band has to be any of these things? Secondly Motorhead help cross metal hell they are the ones who crossed metal into another sub-cukture that I would think would give them some credit.

I would have to highly disagree with this. While yes their best material is their early material, they are very consistent in having good albums and people continually love their stuff. They're definitely more than just a name.
