Does PTLE have a "tap tempo" feature? The only tutorials I've found online are in Spanish... and for the life of me... I cant understand it...
anyone?
anyone?
i often use the OS X Dashboard Widget "BPM"....
... but you can also simply bring the Transport Window up, make sure the Midi controls are visible (View > Transport > Midi Controls), then disable the Tempo Ruler (the button that looks like a little Conductor) to enter Manual Tempo Mode....then you just click the in Tempo field so that it's highlighted and you can now tap the "T" key on your keyboard to tap tempo.
bear in mind that when you do this all tempo events in the Tempo Track are disabled. that's why i use the BPM widget.
so is the BPM widget.Get AnalogX 'TapTempo' for Chrissakes! haha. It's free!
and the other method is built in to PT and thus works for Windows and OS X.
yeah, sure you can... just make sure your tracks are set to Sample-based rather than Tick-based... you can find that setting in the main panel for each track in the Edit window: blue dot = sample-based, green triangle = tick-based. you have to tap the tempo in to find it and then go back into Conductor mode to turn your tempo map back on. i just prefer to use the BPM widget or the Audio Producer Tools tap tempo widget.Yeah, but from what you said, i wouldn't be able to have multiple tempo changes... would I?
