Queensryche front man Geoff Tate recently joined the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Seattle's Key Arena for a holiday rendition of the band's hit, Silent Lucidity. Tate -- who just came off a successful 60-date U.S. tour with his Queensryche band mates -- enjoyed performing with the Orchestra in his hometown in front of an estimated 11,000 people. "What a wonderful experience with a wonderful group of performers. I felt honored to a part of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra spectacle."
Queensryche will be busy again this year with various projects

Not sure what that meant? Queensryche kicked loads of ass when I saw them last fall....Just because the albums dont live up to your standards doesn't mean they can't perform well live...

Hmmmm they sell out the Warfield in San Francisco and thats a large venue.

IMO, they suck in the studio, but their live show is very tight and well done.

I've never been to the Warfield or SF for that matter. With that said, I've seen them live in three different places within the last 5 years and they've played in small theaters.

Would've been cool if Geoff had been at the same show as Buck Dharma.

Meanwhile, OMC2 wasn't a great album, but QR has a diverse catalogue to fall back on. The only bad album they did was Q2Geigh
