when im 18 and my parents cant boss me around anymore (heh heh) im defenetly getting a brainstorm tatooe, any ideas??

hehe... tribals... thats what the common is always looking for. The Tribal (Homepage Background i suppose) looks not bad, but seems quite complex.

it's not complex I think? It's the first time I would consider a band tattoo, since the BS is not soooo clear. I will NEVER get band NAME tattoo, you never know what will happen to the band down the line. In the 80's I'd never thought Metallica would wimp out and what if I were stuck with a Metallica tattoo now??? Overkill's bat (but then the old version in Feel The Fire days) was always an option for me, but without the band logo. But, I only have my little Merlin and I would like more tattoos, but never was sure what exactly and then there is the money thing....

When I get back home (I'm at work now) I'll post an original image of the tribal logo. BTW I've never cared for tribals, but this one I love!

Totally correct... thats like getting a tattoe of your (now) loved girlfriend... whats in ten years? Thats why its maybe better to get something neutrally so you dont have to worry about whats in a few years ;-)

my cousine got a sun with flames around it on the back of his arm, looks quite nice and its still neutrally. I think i wouldn´t get a tattoe without thinking seriously about it before.

I got the Modern Bat Just cause it looks f-in awsome! But there are very Few bands if anyothers at all whos names I would Tattoo to my body Overkill is the exception ... they have been my Favorite band for 14 years and have NEVER EVER disapointed me and have always Put on a good show and treated me very nice all the times I met them ... so Having the Bat and Logo in a way is my Tribute to them ... but at the same time I know exzactly what you mean ... its just like that guy (could be anybody) in '88 who got Poison on his arm and prolly hates them now hahaha But I am confident Overkill will never pull a Meclitaca on me so I'm not worried

I have been down the getting a Tat without thinking about it route before ... tis how I ended up with a pentagram on my left arm ... I have been thinking about a good Pronounced OVERKILL tat for years! I can promise you I feel no shame about it now and I wont in 10 years or 20 years or 30 years or 40 years or even 50 years if I manage to live that long ... I was confident I was doing the right thing and will remain so

Yep I know what ya mean Bud! I thought about it for aloooong time myself almost since I was 13 ... different logo but same Idea but I am 27 now so that was long enough haha Just dont get an impulse one haha ... My next Tat Idea is to get well basiclly this pic but Just the guitar with the Roses with the Dates and a r.i.p. of a good friend of mine that passed away I figure it would make a nice tribute since Savatage helped me through that whole thing and still do ... just have to figure out where to get it on

rockabilia They sell rub on IM tattoos. I bought 2 for kicks and giggles. Seriously though, No-Mercy wait and make sure it what you really, really want. I've got the Scorpions on my leg, long time always will be a Scorpions fan...another reason for that tattoo is I am also a Scorpio

Personally tribal tattoos bore me and unless it comes from your family heritage, I can't see why that has become so trendy.

As for band tattoos, it is hit and miss as you don't know what a band might do down the line to piss you off although I don't think it is as risky as putting a girlfriend or wife's name on your skin.

I really don't see why people ask for suggestions. It should come to you in your mind where you just go Wow, that is an awesome idea. It is personal that way. If you have to ask for suggestions, I don't think you are really that ready for a permanant piece of bodyart.

You Are a Wise man! and I totally agree with you about the tribal tats! as for the band tat it means alot to me and I dont expect Overkill to pull a Metallica on me anytime soon
