I am a huge fan of Gary Hughes and his band Ten. I love Gary's smooth as silk low vocals and the typical Ten dramatic, epic, hard rock. Albums like Babylon and so on have always featured high in my year end lists but Gary has been missing in action for awhile but now he's back. Ten have always had a problem with their productions but also no such problem will exist on this occasion as Dennis Ward is at the helm. Frontiers have released 3 samples from the new album and they are spinning the track Endless Symphony in full on their webradio but I wasn't lucky enough to hear it in full yet when I tuned in. Anyway the samples sound really awesome. Epic melodic hard rock at it's best! Check the sample mix out. Can't wait for this album!

Thanks for posting!

I'm a huge Ten fan, and I personally wasn't too happy with the last few albums, but this new album sounds very promising. Interesting to see Zonder behind the kit... I had no idea he was in the band until now.

I'm seriously out of touch these days. :guh:

I agree....the last couple of cd's were a little lacking....maybe it's because Vinny Burns is no longer playing guitar. I'll be looking to pick this up though...Ten always produces some classy music.

BTW- Dustin, that's the coolest avatar and tag line...Hot Rod freakin' cracked me up. Cool beans!

The new video for lead track Endless Symphony and what an awesome song it is too with great melodies and lyrics from Gary as usual. Gary pulls some funny shapes too hehehe! It looks like the video was filmed in Gary's home town of Blackpool on the beach. The whole album is just brill and I love all the songs almost equally. I ordered it but it's not released yet so waiting impatiently for the real thing. The production on this thing is just the best sound Ten has ever had thanks to Dennis Ward.

Really looking forward to this release! TEN is a great band, have been following them for years now. Glenn needs to get these guys over for ProgPower!

By the way, the video is great! Didn't expect to see that...

I was turned on to TEN in 2002 while in Greece, by Christos Kyrkilis, who became the keyboard player for Wastefall, and was floored by the band, so I purchased every album they had aout at the time, and have since gotten the the 2004 release "Return to Nevermore", and the 2006 release "The Twilight Chronicles". Yea I really love this band.

The title track from the new album. Do you think I am plugging the new album enough eh? I am just loving the new album and it's growing on me even more. If this song doesn't get you with that beautiful guitar melody and Gary's epic lush melodies over the top then you could always stare at the lady's magnificent arse on the cover for a few minutes!

Hmmm! Got me thinking. Was this Glenn's "original" mystery band to the festival? Its certainly not Power or Prog. But would draw new fans to the festival.

I certainly hope Glenn can bring these guys over at some future point. Count me in as a TEN fan.
