TEODOR TUFF is dead...Welcome to CROSSNAIL!

The problem is that these non-English first language bands keep putting together words we would never say together and they sound dumb. Firewind comes to mind.

Yea, this is an upgrade.....

In the same kind of way that dropping a brick on your foot would be an upgrade over dropping a bowling ball on your foot.

Regardless, as long as the music is as good on the next one as it was on the last one, they could have changed their name to Shitstain, Guntrigger or Limozeen for all I care.

When I spoke to Seeb from Orden Ogan he mentioned that he now runs his lyrics passed a few friends who are native English speakers. I've always wondered why more bands don't utilize such a tactic.

I don't see why Firewind is your example. There are lots of instances of those two things playing together that are not in any way goofy or illogical.

It's my example because it's the first thing I thought of. I could've said Raintime and it would've been just as dumb. Don't take it personally. You're welcome to give more. If you've ever said Firewind together or heard someone who has outside of the name of the band I wouldn't believe it for a second.

He was referring to your typo:

"he now runs his lyrics passed a few friends who are native English speakers."

Loved the Soliloquy CD - "Tower of Power" is a regular on my workout playlists. Agree with those who aren't sure the name is an upgrade - although at least Crossnail doesn't sound like a character that should be frolicking in the 100 Acre Wood with Winnie the Pooh and Tigger.

I also think it's not much of an upgrade, but compared to that it certainly would be!

In any case they're a great band and hope they continue to make good music! :)

It might have been a nod to the classic Uli Jon Roth album Fire Wind.
