The scary thing is that that line was pre-written, approved by editors/producers and on the teleprompter. TV news has strayed so far off course it is honestly frightening to me.

I don't even see the slant.
I think republican/democrat/socialist/anarchist you have to admit the absurdity of a 'news' network suggesting that a presidential candidate might have used secret terrorist hand signals to communicate with his wife while on national television.
Anyway, point being, it was funny.
