Terry Brock - Diamond Blue

Wow, much better than I anticipated... so I looked the new album up on HEAVYHARMONIES.COM and quickly found out why it sounded so good.... MIKE SLAMER that's why. Too bad Terry didn't recruit Mike on his first release back in 2001. The music is like STEELHOUSE LANE style, (and that's a good thing).

Thanks for posting. ;)

KYF - Have you not heard Slamer's solo cd from 06 called Nowhere Land? Terry Brock sings on that as well. This is basically the follow up but goes under Terry's name as a solo disk but there's not much difference at all. Anyway like you said Mike Slamer is the man when it comes to guitar licks and immaculate melodic songs and with Terry's voice you have a match made in melodic aor heaven. There is going to be a new Strangeways disk as well by the way so more of Terry as Strangeways were absolutely amazing back in the day.

i love the SLAMER disc. he also produced the WALL OF SILENCE album years ago and it sounds like a Slamer album pretty much. i am trying to work out a deal to reissue it with Universal if they still have the rights. :)

I've never heard of Wall of Silence but I'm listening now on youtube and I can hear the same old Slamer magic shining through. Oddly enough the song Addicted is both on the Steelhouse Lane album Metallic Blue and the Wall of Silence album as well. I guess Mike thought a good songs a good song let's use it twice! lol! I'm going to have to seek this WoS album out now Mister cause I'm a sucker for any ol' Slamer shit!
