Test/New Amp Sim

Hi,

Right now I´m tweaking the tonestack of an upcoming amp sim.
(I´m using some of the "Rose of Sharyn-files")

Raw guitar tone/no HP or LP

Comments about the tone is much appreciated!

Almost sounds like its cutting off the riffage. Turn up the gain!

The settings used were: Input at 12 o´clock and gain at 2 o´clock.

I´ll make a new version.

Tone controls - bass/mid/treble - still at noon.

Not enough gain?

What about mids?

What about lows?

What about highs?

I'd look for more tightness in the preamp section, tone is good enough I guess

As I´m away with only a laptop and simple headphones I´ve realised that the "mix" (well this isn´t a "mix", just a test for guitar tone) was bass heavy.

This one I like a lot better. but if thats gain maxxed I would up the amount of preamp gain you are using. That doesnt have enough for some people.

Yes I have a feeling that the gain is on the low side.
I´ll report back to the developer.

Hi Polifemo,
I'm doing the cross-forum stalk to try and get some more information on this ampsim.

Can you give us some identifying details, please? Anything. Is it released yet?
At the moment we don't even know which developer to keep an eye on for this.
