Testament Appreciation

Welcome and practice what you preach ;)

Low, how low can you gooooooooooooo!

Anyone heard the new live album?????? Ive been curious.
Eric Petersons new Dragonlord record kicks ass for more of the thrashy black metal approach.

I love Testament!!!:headbang: I have been listening to them since 'The Legacy' came out back in 87' I believe. Those first three albums were awesome and still get regular play from me. I do like the older stuff a bit more than the later releases though. 'First Strike Still Deadly' was really good as well. I hope they get back in the studio with Skolnic on guitar. It's been forever since they released a new album.

Every Testament album is killer in my opinion.

One of my top three bands along with Anthrax and Exodus.

Got the Live In London DVD & CD (was at the show was well) and it is well worth getting. Great production, fucking amazing performances, classic tunes and some tunes they dug our of the vault such as Let Go Of My World and Raging Waters.

I'm asking for the London dvd for xmas (yes I still ask for xmas presents:D ) but if I don't get it, I'm buying it right away.

Hey buddy I assume that you ask your Christmas presents from your parents. If you do:

Just between us. Whatever you do don't ever let them read the statement you made above ;)

I also love the first 3 albums. Souls, Ritual, and Low lost me a little bit, but Demonic and The Gathering kick major arse. Reign of Terror is one of my favorite thrash tunes ever. Skolnick was an idol of mine for a while.

Saw them in 87 with Slayer at Lamour, and 6 other times.

"Low" is my all-time favorite maybe because was my first, but still the one I like the most. I have all but "Ritual" and "Demonic", still not interested in those two.

I've owned sporatic albums here and there, but am just posting here to say that I sat right behind Chuck Billy at Iron Maiden at Shoreline (SF Bay Area) on the Eddie the Great tour. It was cool to see him out and about.

lol? I don't get it....

As always you should not explain a joke. What I meant was that if your parents would know that you would be willing to buy the Testament DVD yourself if you do not get it as a Christmass present they might be tempted to let you buy it yourself. A nd give you something more 'useful' ;)

I was thinking with my parents hat on. I know I would be tempted to let my son buy it himself if I knew he would do it. Cheap bastard that I am. :tickled:

No bad intentions buddy

I have their first one, don't listen to it much, not really into. I have it mostly because Smyth is on it, I saw the show, got a copy and all the guys autographed it. :D
