Is there any updates available on this? How did the footage & sound turn out? Is it better/worse than expected & is it still scheduled for release?

It would be cool if there was some bonus backstage footage on there, with the 'Over The Wall' original promo video as a bonus hidden menu option (seeing as it was sorely missed from 'Seen Between The Lines'. It would also be cool if you could include the Unplugged session with Mr. Murphy...

the Unplugged session with Mr. Murphy...
yes, an acoustic concert would be nice. The guy who was filming the band (doing backstage footage) even wanted them to play a couple of unplugged songs in Germany, but they hadn't played in a long time (plus they never did an acoustic concert back in the day- only with James or Glen) Still, Alex was talked into improvising a bit on an acoustic guitar- I hope this piece will be included.
Can't wait until they announce the release date of it. I hope it will be out some time in September.

It fucking ruled. Was hoping they'd come out afterwards and meet some fans, but I couldn't even stick around for that, i had to drive back up the country.

Would have killed to meet Skolnick. :ill:

Shame you couldn't hang around... My friend and I travelled down from Glasgow, Scotland for the show - we pretty much got there early in the afternoon and were lucky enough to meet them all. The last chance I had to meet the original line-up was back in '87 when they supported Anthrax (and I got accosted by a bouncer pumped up to the tits on test). The Clash Of The Titans tour was the only other time they came here with the original line-up, but they were playing aircraft hangars - so there was NO chance of meeting them there without a pass. I'd met Chuck & Eric on previous occasions, so you can imagine how elated I was to finally meet Alex, Louie & Greg as well... it pretty much made my year!!! :headbang: They're all killer guys, and ridiculously patient when it came to signing my full collection, hehehehehe (very much appreciated guys!!! Thank you so much for the reunion show!!! Hope to see the DVD, a new album & another UK show soon!!!).

Bear in mind that this would be the UK release date - I'm not sure about Poland, maybe it would be worthwhile checking out some DVD mailorder sites near your area
I'm aware of this, but the sooner it gets released in the UK, the sooner it comes out elsewhere (no matter how big the difference between the release dates would be). Besides, I'm relieved that it actually is coming out one day. As for the mailodrders- I might consider that, because I'm really anxious to finally put my hands on some new Testament release as soon as possible.

Looks nice. I have it on some tape (only the acoustic part, if I rememeber correctly), but the quality is far from perfect. It's weird what gets released illegally. I kind of hoped one of the acoustic shows (this one from 1995 or the 1993 one) would get released as the officail bootlegs one day- but someone was faster and released it for the band :)..but if the quality is really good, this is a nice item for the bootleg collectors and the fans (after all Testament doesn't play acoustic sets every year).

I'd actually laugh out loud if the Testament Bandmembers bought this DVD and started ripping copies and selling it themselves on the Testament site (hint, hint!). At least that way - they'd be the ones earning money for all their hard work. It looks like quite good quality from the screen stills - I just hope the sound quality matches it. I'm sure it would sell really well for them, just with the novelty of it being unplugged and all...

You're right about the probability of it selling very well, I think. However, when it comes to the quality, I doubt it's that good. One: because I've seen it (and can't believe this one is much improved). Two: look carefully at these screen shots- the quality seems far from perfect. Still, definitely worth checking out for every Testament fan.
And if they don't release any of these acoustic sets through their website, they could play some new ones (charity or commercial, at a birthday party for one of them, in the TV or wherever)- that would be nice.

Yeah I don't remember any screw up either?!?!

You sure, you're not thinking of the No Mercy tour in London, when they had Asgir on the kit? I'm sure Asgir kept on playing during Disciples, and Eric had to remind him of the crash cymbal pattern to break the song...
