Hi,

On behalf of the entire crew, I would like to thank you for visiting ProgPower Europe 2009. We hope you enjoyed the festival as much as we did, the after party yesterday ended at 6.30!

Everyone who was not able to make it this year, hopefully we will see you back in 2010.

So once again thank and see you next year.

Rene

Although I wasn't there, you had a dream lineup for my tastes. On that basis alone, thank-you and I'll look forward to next year :D

Thank you Rene !

A great weekend ended with an excellent performing headliner.

Just got home and glad i don't have to work tomorrow, heh.

It will take some weeks before i've finished sorting out and processing the pics, but they will show up here and PP's website. Probably band by band like last year.

Thank you René and crew for another awesome festival. To my personal tastes, like Kirsty, this was one HELL of a lineup. With Akphaezya as the big surprise, Hacride extremely solid and with Andromeda and Seventh Wonder exactly the perfectionism I expected of it, this festival was the best I have personally attended. Partying with the Chaos Divine crew was awesome and laughing about the guy that passed out on the couch was another highlight. And to end it all, we travelled to Utrecht/Amsterdam with about 15 people (Fins, Spanish, Australian and dutch).

Some other thank you's from me:
Thank you to the Brits...err sorry English guys for the whiskey!
Thanks to the drummer of Seventh Wonder for the semi-stripping entertainment on the saturday night in our room at the castle!
Thanks to everyone that partied with us at the after parties!
Thanks to the people at the Berckt for having the black water and breakfast ready when we woke up, eventually! :p
Thanks to my roommates for putting up with me and an apology for my snoring!
Thanks to the Australians for being complete nutcases, and entertaining us by, amongst other things, drinking a lifetime supply of Flugel!

And a special thank you to my Progpower family: the legendary Progpower swedes, all the fins, the dutchies (that includes you, Frysians :p ), ze germans, my personal friends that I convinced to come to Progpower and Ricard (for attending this year and turning into a believer)! You guys made the festival into another unforgettable adventure!

Thank you all very much and I'll see you next year!

René, you've once again proven that this is the single best festival in the world. Seventh Wonder was beautiful, Mercenary was excellent and Hacride just killed.

The bands were a boatload of fun to hang out with, and so were the fans.

Personal highlights were of course bodyslamming the guy on the couch, and entering the upper floor of the castle where the first afterparty was, through the window. :loco:

All in all, it's been an absolute blast.

Thanks to rené for making this possible.
Thanks to all of the volunteers, who were generally in a good mood and very nice people.
Thanks to the australians for making me sprain more than one stomachmuscle from laughter.
Thanks to all the people I've spoken and had fun with.
Thanks to Cello for ruining my vocal chords.

See you all again next year.

Marcel, you put it pretty well with little to add, but a thanks to you too :). Yet again, what an awesome annual family gathering!

And an especially huge thanks to Rene! Again.

See you all next year, now to await the impending Combine Harvester of Doom

Thank you. I'm back home, tired as hell. Unfortunately I caught some light form of Swine-flu down there so half om my festival was destroyed, but friday and most of saturday were awesome. I'll write more later...

Thanks Rene and everyone of the crew, bands ect. for making this possible. It was my third PP and every year it's getting better! The line-up was fantastic, I really enjoyed Cloudscape, Mercenary, Neverland and offcourse Evergrey. But the other bands played also very well and there were some nice suprises like that French band with that impossible name :loco:
Yesterday we left Sjiwa around 4:00-4:30, did that crazy, drunk, sleepy guy on the couch survived the party?

I'm really looking forward to PP2010, maybe we can solve this mystery:

Simply thanks to ALL of you who are connected to progpower in any way. The festival wouldn't be the same if just one were missing. (Only gotta sadly mention the one's that were missing this year)

Besides our master :worship: Rene who spends so much effort in getting it stemmed every year, his staff and the kind staff at Deberckt; our openhearted Cello who keeps us regulars and even non regulars connected so greatly; my big quote of respect goes out to all the unpretentious bands who switch to fan-mode after their stage time is over. (Now is that a long sentence? :p )

Can't wait for all the photographers to put all the pictures online! And I hope we'll have another 800+ pictures flipbook like last year!
I will do my best in posting a review of the entire event at our blog after my messed up brain cells are resorted and Dario filled up some holes in my memory.

Thank YOU!
Had a great time as always.
The bands residing westbound in Europe was totally awsåmme this year.
Akphaezya, Nahemah and Hacride!!!

Tired, ol' man gonna sleep now.

bye 4 now

Thank you all for welcoming us with such friendship :) Hope to see you soon again somewhere people! Thanks Rene, Dries, all the metal heads that I cannot spell the names :D, Andromeda people, Cloudscape people, the awesome UK guys and the crazy French people as well as all the people I am missing. Also, a special thanks to that very special couple for making us proud of what we are doing, hope you two will have a long happy life together!

can I be the first to admit (or the only one to admit) that today whilst lying in exhaustion on this hostel bed; looking through my photos; that I actually had a cry because I miss you all already. <3

Rene...had you not invited Chaos Divine to perform at your PP, I would not have found out about it. For this, I can't thank you enough as I am happy to admit I had the best weekend of my life. This will definitely not be my last PP.

no gig back home will ever be the same without every one of you who made my experience so EXCELLENT!

noren: SWINE FLU? Holy shit PP's THAT good!? get well soon! xoxo

plenty more flugels to be drank next year! xoxo love you all!

Thank you all, my friends, for being there with me - it was awesome. Akphaezya rocked so much that I don't even remember anything else any more (especially with a beer cheaper than water at hand... :)

I will be there next year. And I will notify you when my little documentary will hit the net...

Rock on :)

Don't worry Jana. It's not Swine-flu. Just a joke based on the fact that there's a pig-farm in Baarlo haha.
I'm doing OK. I'm at work today.
Good to hear that you had a great time. Of course you did. Whay do you think we all are coming back each and every year? :)

I'll make it short:

NO, THANK YOU, RENE! (and the rest of the team)

And huge-ass fucking thanks to the ProgPower family. (Please note I didn't write "huge ass-fucking".)

See you next year!

(Photos are going online over the next two days.)

Thank you Rene and the PP-team, as always a fabulous weekend.

A huge thank you to old and new friends in the Prog Power-family, you're simply the best! :)
