i love experimenting with this stuff and making my own shit outa then.. like reversing them and adding some over drive to them... i just get a nice deep kick and put a fat reverb on it for harsh attack..

i dunno.. try keep them punchy and not like sub bass moaning whales. and leave space in ur mix for them or all the lower end waves just multiply and distort, sounding like wank..

so what do you do to them to get them sounding so freakin huge? theres one in atreyus (dont hurt me) album, the curse, and im not sure if its an overdrive on it, but it sounds fucking HUGE!!! any tips for making it sound good? compress the bejesus out of it, pull out some frequencies?

wo wo no lol dont compress them lol because you need them to fade out nicely..

u just need to position them in the right places and if they sound good alone then wicked.. dont do anything to them at all..

the biggest thing you need to look out for is the level of how loud you have it in the mix... and thats about it.. wen i'm at home.. i shall make a folder of a load of good ones i have for you all....

but atm.. i'm getting ready to go to an industry party
