Anyone heard the new album Attack & Release? A finely crafted rock album!

I got into the band when I got their last album. Stellar rock in the vein of White Stripes. But I personally dont care too much for the White Stripes but find The Black Keys really good. And their new album is just amazing. The band took it to a whole nother level. Most importantly the song writing is just amazing on thier new album, songs like "So He Wont Brake" and "Things Aint Like they Used To Be", truly amazing.

The production is exellent also, with Danger mouse behind the recording tools.

Originally The Black Keys were asked by Danger Mouse to write songs for Ike Turners next album but since he died, the band just took the song for themselves, and that is a good thing.

This album is definetly one of the best rock albums of the year!!! Good mix of classic rock, blues and RnB, go get it!

Start with the song "so he wont brake" not the upbeat rock song that the band is used to but a really well written beautiful rock meets soul song.

Rockin band, bought the dvd a couple of years back. The guitarist is fucking top stuff, he plays like mark knopfler but with much more dirtiness to the sound.
