Yeah, their earlier stuff is better. I didn't even bother to get their latest. Not that it was bad but it's disappointing when compared to Thickfreakness or Rubber Factory.

I only have The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness and Magic Potion, but yeah as you said, latest stuff is disappointing when compared to earlier album. If you're looking for something similar, I'd recommend Ash Grunwald, an Australian artist of the same vein. His album Fish Out of Water is certainly on par with anything the Black Keys have put out.
Pretty good stuff there by Grunwald. You sure can tell he's a Howlin Wolf fan when you listen to Devil Called Me A Liar.
Came across a pretty cool band in my search of more things like The Black Keys. They are called Heartless Bastards and their album The Mountain has an amazing album cover.
Fuck. I still want more stuff like The Black Keys early stuff. I know it's a long shot asking for a music recommendation here 
but if anybody knows anything that fits the bill, let me know.
