The topic says it all, methinks. Please confer your sentiments regarding the ever-nutritious and overall gorgeous legume of Cabbage. Lemme go first.

Cabbage, thou lovely green sphere
How sweet be the smell of sausage
Entwined with spices and lots of beer
And thine taste, in cumbersome dosage...

Good. Now say all that in a poem. Author of best entry will be treated to a yummy Czech beer. :D

To My Cabbage

To masticate
To osculate
I cry. In the rain. Until.
I indulge in sweet-sour peristalsis.

'And I still believe in nothing
No more cabbage means no food for tomorrow....'

Yus.... a good part of my heritage is Hungarian...and by dad gummit there be some ass raping killer cabbage recipies in my clutches.

I'm not a fan of cabbage. Once, I put cabbage on a sandwich, thinking it was lettuce. I might have been drunk or something, I don't know. It was the most inedibly plastic/vinyl textured/tasting sandwich I've ever had.

Once I put mayonnaise on a slice of chec thinking it was honey. I was surely drunk.

Do you speak the language? :)

Trying good sir. Next year I plan on visiting the "home land", of this side of my family. But sadly they are dying off, and/or succumb to the treachery of old age. None the less in my very little free time I have taken study and learned as I am able.

Nehéz nyelv a magyar... I think it's the ninth most difficult language in the world. But I wouldn't know :)

Ode to Cabbage

I remember days of glory
Of unbound joy and soaring
When cabbage was never lacking
And men were always flapping
