I just got this and should i be worried that the "book" is in japanese?

i was looking forward to little notes about the songs or something.
Now it just looks like the matrix code.

It seems that this is a Japanese only release. That may be why it has the notes in Japanese.

Crazy Japanese always get cool shit cause their C.D prices are sky high compared to everywhere else.

I think there's nothing special information in the liner notes. It explains about Opeth history and was written by a editor of the Japanese metal magazine.

And I must say that cd prices are not so high in Japan now.
Japanese edition is still a bit expensive because it has Japanese translated lyrics, liner notes and sometimes bonus tracks or different album covers, but I buy the international edition mostly and its price isn't high.

actually the candlelight years is a very good compilation which we got at bloodstock and despite its a japanese import, it deters not from the quality of the early years of the mighty Opeth!

I think I can translate it, but it takes looong time because of my poor English skills...

Most of the booklet are Japanese translated lyrics, so you don't need them to be translated, right?
