The mention of Dimmu Borgir and Kamelot together in that other thread got me thinking: What's the coolest guest appearance you've heard on an album?

Examples...

Hansi Kursh on Edguy's Vain Glory Opera

Timo Tolkki on Avantasia as the voice of The Power

Yunhui Percifield on Iced Earth's Horror Show as Christine on the track The Phantom Opera Ghost

....aaand, go!

Michael Kisk on Aina - Days of Rising Doom
Every singer on Ayreon - The human Equation
Edu Falaschi and Russel Allen on Genius a Rock Oprea Episode II

Ray Alder on the first Redemption cd!!!!

RIGHT ON! YES! THAT IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! I SECOND THAT! And now that he's going to be the permenent singer that is even better.

Daniel Gildenlow on the Flower Kings "Adam and Eve". "A Vampire's View" is one of the coolest songs. His lead vocal on this track is incredible and the harmonies throughout are unbelievable.

Tommy

I'd like to say Jake E. Lee on Rob Rock's Rage of Creation CD. I love freakin' Jake E. Lee/Badlands, and as for Rob, I hope him and his band play ProgPower someday! It was a real treat to see him there this past year!

Hmmmm Michael Kiske on Gamma Ray's tune Time to Break Free
Or Ralf Schepers doing tons of backup vox on Brainstorm's "Hungry" release.....
