My friends even offered me a ticket, because they are all going but I have to finish so many school projects for tomorrow's morning class, I'm probbaly looking at an all nighter of work........

I had the worst happen the other night...

I found this band (we will call BandX) which I got super excited about. Really good shit, but total guilty pleasure. I showed them off to a bunch of my friends who totally got into them too. They even went and saw BandX at Coachella, which I didn't go to. Oh well, no big deal.

Then I find out that BandX is playing San Francisco! Cool! But it's on a night that I absolutely CANNOT go. All my friends went to see BandX without me, and had a great time, even though I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT THEM ALL INTO THEM!

Big time bums.

Not that long a story. I bought tickets to the ProgressiveNation dorkfest about a month prior, and had a whole separate crew I was going with. But I've already seen all those bands a thousand squillion times, and I'd have much rather seen the new kids on the shlock.

definitely more awesome than "real" "goth" from the 80s
