The song "Pixillate" in particular has grown on me. And the first two intro tracks leading into "Triumph" are boner-inducing. "Vampolka" sounds like Mr. Bungle.
One thing about this album is the fact that is has no "standout" songs like "Deep Peace" and "Canada" and "Earth Day", but is probably more adventurous and more of a whole-album listening experience. I can't really see myself saying "Oh, I really want to listen to 'Gaia' now" like I do with some tracks on Terria, but I'll probably start it at the beginning every time. That, I think, was my initial disappointment with the album.
I think if Terria sounds like luscious April, Synchestra sounds like balmy July.
