After watching the excellent guitar.com interview and being shown how to actually play it all correctly, I tabbed it all for everyone. I didn't do the rhythms, but all the chords are there. If you know this song, you'll get it all anyway. Listen and play along to the Cd for help.

Enjoy.

PS: Copy this and open it in your Notepad/ Word processor and use the Courier font so it will look correct. I will try to post it as courier...

Oh yeah...there are lots and lots and lots of overdubs on this song, this tab pretty much represents the way Opeth plays it live with two guitarists.

(I know this is what Mike Plays. I think Peter doubles it live, on the album there are different overdubs.)

Corrections by Erik Dietrich.

That's it! Play the first part again.

go to guitar.com, you can't miss it

The windows media version (both hi and low) didn't work (I got a few frames of video, then it just went white and I only heard the sound) and I'd rather pour water into my computer than install that fucking realpayer again. I am way too tired to play with these stupid bloody media codecs right now.

I like it. It's an excellent video interview for no prior warning. They could do guitar lesson videos.

Agreed. Bad choice to use the word lesson? Jo is a little overexcited right now. :yow:
Playing tablature is bound to be a weird experience.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the E major you have in the "Pull me down" part is supposed to be an E minor, i.e.

1:-5--3------1--(0)--(0)-
2:-6--3--1---1---1----3--
3:-7--4--2-0-2---2----4--
4:-7--5--2-2-3---3----5--
5:-5--5--0-2-3-----------
6:----3----0-1-----------

I tried both, and to me, the Emin sounds right, whereas the E major is kinda :guh:.

Correct. I fix.
