The Eyes Of Medusa...is that a pick squeal?

I agree with Jaska, if you mean the thing after "The Isle of Deadly Shores" then it's a natural C harmonic (well, actually it's a Bb if we are to consider the D-tuning), probably EQ:ed to death in the studio... As for the other "squeals", that's just pinch harmonics á la Zakk Wylde. Anyway, that's my opinion... :rock:
 
actually, when I play that part, I can approach it pretty much by doing a pinch harmonic on string 2 and 3 (at the same time, needs some practice, but it sounds cool) at fret 13. And EQ'ed? I don't think so. He used EMG's, these PU's have some great harmonics, so it must be pretty easy to make a sound like that.

hehehe, I know how to get this (I use it in my song at mp3.com if you wanna hear), basically its the harmonic at the 4th fret, and hes hitting the b and g strings at once. Of course, to get the right sound he gets you should be tuned down a whole step too. :p
