Hey people.

Here is a mix I did. It's a cover from the band THE FACELESS it's called Prison Born from their album Planetary Duality.

All guitars were performed & recorded by Danny Greenwood
Mix and mastering were done @ Xenotype Studio by Jan Trtschka.

Awesome mix man! Sounds heavy and tight as fuck. Did you reamp the guitars? May I ask what amp did you use?

Thanks man The guitars were "reamped" with JST Toneforge Ben Bruce. Drums are a mix of Metal Foundry Cymbals & Rooms.

I used 5 Kick Drums, 9 Snare mics and for Toms the new Getgood Drums from Nolly.

I hunaminzed the Drums myself.

The included midi file didn't work for me for some reason, so i had to use one of GuitarPro files from the net (i had to modify almost all of the cymbal hits though to match the original song).

I just wanted to try it and I think the drum sound I achieved is nice.

Did you humanize the midi drums? Sounds a bit like the machine gun effect
