I think getting off of UM could actually improve the Katatonia forum, since this has got a bit lost among all the other forums here. With just the Katatonia forum for newly registered members, without the distraction of more active ones, I think the forum might be even more active.

is there a system set up yet wherein one can donate for a specific forum? i've donated some money to UM before, but if this per-forum charge thing comes into effect, i'd very much like to have a way of applying any new donations i might make to the katatonia forum...

I think this is what the band should pay, isn't it?
If it is so, it's not that much after all, even if I don't know if it will be enough to keep this forum alive.
I'm not sure if I understood properly what I read...

well, the record label aught to pay but, with there being quite a few hundred registered users, if everyone donated 1 dollar a year the whole of the forums could be payed for.
