wow, that's neat! he was talking about picking me up on his motorcycle, which i wasn't too excited about doing with all my luggage. but i chickened out -- i was never as "close" with those guys as i am with some people on this board. plus, i didn't have the money. burn was another "friend," but he's a bit...overly excitable. :tickled: he's from paris too, i believe. do you know him? (sorry, i should probably be PMing you.)

ahahah Burn :)

it's a friend of mine (in the real life), i but i didn't know him at that time (it does only one year, when i arrived in Paris that i met him for the first time)
he mets his (dutch) girlfriend in a TG fanparty, so he is planning to move to the NL as soon as he has finished his studies

but don't expect they will come back to metal ... i went to the Netherlands in october to see 3 gigs and they played 6 new songs, and i can say they have definetely left metal ... but i was really impressed by these songs, the upcoming album will probably (in my opinion of "no more metalhead") be their best, very atmospheric, very quiet, darkest as usual from them too
btw actually, last time i talked to Hans (the drummer), he was in a "The Cure" mood, he (as the rest of the band) listens almost no metal anymore

That's very dissapointed , the fact that I only like The gathering for their metal roots , makes me more sorry for the metalhead fanatics of this band, well not many people ahve vote in the poll, and I'm sorry for the first albums, but this poll is to review the years of The Gathering with Anneke only, well, at least you can see that Mandylion and Nighttime Birds are winning, it seems that the metal fans of TG are entered this forum only.

Well after the information that aegis gave me , I think that I won't buy the new The Gathering album
