The Gathering > you.

No, you listened to it for a week and realized you didn't like it. :p

Okay, you're right. But in the context it was apparent I was only speaking about my own likings.

Still, it's hard for me to realize that someone who likes Opeth could like something as boring as Saturnine...

HEY!!! saturnine is far from boring, i mean its got stuff in it that makes it not boring, god its hard to believe someone that likes Opeth finds the Saturnine boring.

anyway i know what you mean, first time i played the album i just let it run through twice, and i was thinking to myself, why? its not good, amity is great, but the rest? why am i playing this again? it was wierd, i dont have a clue why, maybe i was bored. and yeah everything was boring, but not anymore, a few more listenes, and then pow, each time i listened to another song on the album it kept getting better, and Saturnine is great, i feel sorry for you for not liking them (although i know you feel sorry for me for liking them...)

I think the evolution of The Gathering has been positive and the quality of HTMAP is still such that the essence is still there. I haven't heard much of If_Then_Else, but I was immediately impressed by their willingness to expand their sphere and I know this is a bright possibility for the future.
And Anekke is cute! :)

We are proud to announce a new CD which will be released on Psychonaut records june this year! We're still thinking about tracklisting etc, as we have enough songs. Yes, we will also release an album in oktober (possible november 2002). More later. - Hans

Is it just me, or is the guy on "Almost a dance" the worst singer in the history of singing?? Man, I listened to that album again the other day........ there are some damn good songs on it, but...... anyone for singing through their nose?? I sooooo wish the band would remix the album and put Anneke's vocals on instead...

I see that they have re-released it on their own Psychonaught label, does this mean they now own it? They always said the main reason they didn't redo any of the songs was that some other record label owned the recording and wouldn't let them have it. Anyone know?
