NICE. ANy chance I could get the eq and compression setting used?

Guitars are guitarport...with a low pass to wipe away the highend..

Drums are programmed by hand.

..I had the guitars higher then lower I was fuckin with all kinds of shit..I have the bass and guitars routed together then compressed with the c4 to try and blend them somewhat...need to re-eq the bass I think...

I was looking at the the album version in wavelab trying to match the overall levels and frequencies...poor job I guess

Definitely sounds really good man. Did you upgrade on BFD to get other sounds because I know that is probably one of the best sounding kits I've heard someone use straight up.

Random question. How does everyone set up their midi? Since I'm trying to do metal drums I have been trying to set up at least 1/32 notes but it's just so hard to keep up doing it that way. So what does everyone do for that? Just zoom in on one bar?

Its BFD and the expansion pack XFL...with the newest version 1.5 you can layer any and all kits pieces if you want to. I used 2 different kicks and 2 diff snares.

I have the waves plugs and prolly the best eq plug around, PLParEQ..donated 20.00 and now get free lifetime upgrades...sweet.

Hey cameltoe - would you mind posting the Guitarport settings for your bass tone? I can't get a decent bass sound out of mine for shit...

It is a factory preset called "picked bass"....made some minor tweaks to it. Then eq'd and compressed to hell and back...

I'll post some settings later when I get home..

Okay here is the whole song...spent way too much time fuckin with this thing..drums took forever to program...wanted them as close as possible.

I could play the solo better but I am lazy and did not feel like recording it again...there are some bad notes but oh well!!!

you might wanna re-do the snares reverb on the rolls it gets really thin sounds like its trapped in a box or something. apart from that it sounds pretty cool.
